I am Patrick Randall (Pat) and have been making knives
for about 10 years.  My knives have evolved over the 10
year period to meet my needs and the needs of my
customers and friends.  In the galleries I show past
projects and some of my early work. There are links for
fixed blade and folding knives for sale.

I currently do not have any inventory for sale.  I will
accept custom orders.  Current turn around time is
about 2 months.  Take a look at the knives on the site

and see what variations you would like.  I am happy to

I have taken quite a bit of time to get the
cutting edge of my knives to fit the purpose
for which they are intended.  The first link
below shows a video of a Desert Ironwood
Drop Point in A2 cutting.  This knife is
considered a slicer and has a very narrow
edge profile to provide the maximum
sharpness and best slicing.

The large drop point to the right is made
for heavy use of O1 tool steel.  It must cut
for long periods without becoming dull.  I
leave the edge a little thicker and us a
shallow final edge angle to achieve this.
